Second phase in the 18th edition of the National Student Competition "Ambassadors of Health"

76 projects by students from grades 1 to 12 from across the country have been ranked in the second phase of the XVIII National Student Competition "Ambassadors of Health". The competition is organized within the framework of the National Program for the Prevention of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases and is held at the initiative of the Ministry of Health in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Environment and Water, the State Agency for Child Protection, the World Health Organization Office in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross and the National Center for Public Health and Analyses.

The projects include various educational and practical activities related to healthy nutrition, physical activity, prevention of smoking and alcohol use, limiting addictions, mental health care, dental health, environmental protection and the creation of a sustainable healthy environment.

The ranked projects are divided into three age groups:

  • I age group – students from I to IV grades – 24 projects;
  • II age group – students from V to VII grades – 17 projects;
  • III age group – students from VIII to XII grade – 35 projects.
