In 2024, we are participating in the implementation of the "Sports Coaches +" project in partnership with the Reference Center for Sports Training of the IFRC/PE, the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and the Olympic Refugee Foundation of the International Olympic Committee.
< p>The first activity, within the framework of the project, was training in the period from March 12 to 14 at the base of the National Sports Academy.It was attended by 15 volunteers and employees from Burgas, Varna, Dobrich, Plovdiv, Ruse and Haskovo, and the trainers were representatives of the Reference Center for PPE of the IFRC/PE and the International Olympic Committee.
In the coming months, trainings will be held for sports coaches who work with children and young people. The training aims to increase the skills to build a safe and supportive sports environment through psychological first aid training, exchange of good practices and sharing of experience.
