In the National Library "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" was presented the book "I serve - 100 years of the BRCY (1921-2021)", which content a historical overview of dates, personalities and events in the century-old history of the BRCY. A historical exhibition with specially selected iconic photographs from various activities of the organization since 1921 was also opened. The President of the Bulgarian Red Cross, Acad. Hristo Grigorov, awarded the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth with the highest award for the organization - a medal of merit "BRC" - gold.

For the first time, at a special ceremony in the Library, the newly established medal of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth "For good doeres" was presented. Dr. Yanko Mihailov was awarded the medal for his long-term activity and exceptional contribution to the development of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth organization. The event was attended by some of the chairmen and directors of the organization from 1991 til today, who were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
