"Decreasing the risk of trafficking of women and children from Bulgaria
"Decreasing the risk of trafficking of women and children of Bulgaria" started in 2003 г. with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and the Norwegian Red Cross. Within his first stage assistants helplines to the Bulgarian Red Cross in Sofia, Ruse, Plovdiv, Yambol and were trained to provide information and advice to potential migrants and their families about the risks of falling into trafficking. In 2005 г. completed the second stage and started the third phase of the project. In the period August 2004 г. - August 2005 г. 13 regional organizations have implemented various initiatives to mobilize local communities to prevent trafficking in children and young people. Together with the mission to Bulgaria of the International Organization for Migration was named National Essay Contest, poems and drawings entitled "Trafficking in human beings - the new slavery", which works with its participated more than 200 Children and young people from across the country. The authors of the best works received awards from the Bulgarian Red Cross, International Organization for Migration and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy during the ceremony, held on 24 Uni 2005 г. Was prepared Trainer's Guide to the prevention of human trafficking, which will be translated into English and sent to all National Red Cross, participating in European cooperation network of National Societies of Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in response to human trafficking..
