PROJECT PREPARATION FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN
The project "Self-Protection of Children" was financed by the European Commission and is planned entirely in accordance with its policies and recommendations, complementary policies for the preparation of citizens for situations of disaster, and response . It aims to develop a successful collaboration intergenerational transmission of skills to deal at risk. Sat Celevata group enabled children 8 to 12 years, tehnite parents, grandparents.
Project Coordinator is French Red Cross partners with Belgian Red Cross, Bulgarian Red Cross, Finnish Red Cross, University Paris Descartes, Psychology Lab, environmental, French Ministry of Interior and the French Ministry of Sustainable Development.
This project is intended to address specific risks to children (HOME, Street, school and others.), and more recently to learn how to respond adequately, when confronted at all before a dangerous situation, how to analyze the situation and find the right solution, which will help them to build individual safeguards.
To achieve its goals for better training of children in situations of disaster, project investigates the preparation of children in countries, which will be implemented, kakto effects and enabled different methods, used to transfer the knowledge in this area. The next stage will be to develop educational tools for disaster preparedness, to target older (parents, teachers and others.) how to help children to absorb the necessary knowledge to protect. Pedagogical tools will be translated and tested in three countries, uchastvaschi in the project (Bulgaria, France and Belgium).
It is known, that the skills of awareness and decision making in children build on their communication with both peers, and with older people. Therefore adopted the project approach is aimed at developing an original program, directed not only to children, but also at parents, teachers and the elderly.
