Project „Harm reduction among intravenous drug upotrebyavashite in Stara Zagora“
In April 2005 .. Red Cross launched a project, funded by the Regional Delegation of the IFRC / Red Crescent Movement, running on the territory of Stara Zagora, and aims to reach people, who use intravenous drugs. Activities, Red Cross team who play in this city are similar to those carried out by teams, working on Component 4 Programme "Prevention and Control of HIV / AIDS in Bulgaria" activities, namely direct outreach to injecting drug users; counseling and referral for testing and treatment; provision of information materials; condoms; lubricants; exchange of single needle; informing the public about the ideology of the project. Red Cross team to be composed of three, trained outreach workers, and cooperate with local authorities and institutions.
