HIV / AIDS prevention and anti discrimination

Bulgarian Youth Red Cross organizes and carries out campaigns of all important dates, associated with AIDS

• St. Valentine - Valentine's Day;
• International Day of Remembrance of Victims of AIDS – third Sunday of May;
• 1 December - World Day to Combat AIDS

In recent years Red Cross volunteers joined the national campaign of the "Prevention and Control of HIV / AIDS in Bulgaria, Kato sledvaha motto and objectives of the program. In this respect, the campaign is aimed at promoting the activities of the cabinets for anonymous and free counseling and testing for HIV / AIDS (KABKIS) the country.

Realizing the seriousness of the problem, Volunteers BMCHK enabled vsichkite 28 regions of Bulgaria, campaigns, which aim to raise awareness among the population about the problems of HIV / AIDS in Bulgaria, and ways of spreading the virus. In schools, universities, and in youth clubs, Red Cross throughout the country are conducted educational lectures and training on prevention of HIV / AIDS and sexually risky behavior. Also be distributed informational brochures and postcards. In most cities such campaigns osashtestyavat with HEI and many institutions and organizations, working on the problems of HIV / AIDS at local level.

In support of this whole information campaign, related to prevention of HIV / AIDS, Red Cross reminds the public about the problem and 14 February - Valentine's Day. Youth clubs Red Cross in the 28 District Councils of BRC again held various activities to attract public attention to the problems of HIV / AIDS.

Aiming the message of the organization for practicing safe sex to reach the majority of society, Red Cross volunteers carry out a joint campaign with the music company Payner, distributing condoms and informational brochures to the public, during some summer tours of TV Planeta Payner.
