Road safety
The work of the BRCY on road safety issues and first aid in schools is a key element in ensuring the safety of children on the road.
The volunteers the bRCY are included in the traditional road safety campaigns in the BRC, with the task of giving out stickers, light reflectors and other informational materials, and interviewing students to find out the level of their knowledge, and their attitudes to road safety. They hold demonstrations in first aid at road accidents during car and bike racing, patrol at key intersections, together with the Road Police and paint the pedestrian crossings in order to draw particular attention to young pedestrians , affect their behavior and help reduce the number and severity of accidents.
